Tuscany at the wedding table
Tuscan cuisine is the most genuine of all Italian regional cuisines. The chef will offer you genuine flavours, natural ingredients and recipes of the Tuscan culinary tradition, also accompanied by some of the best wines and extra virgin olive oils in the world.
For the aperitif, cured meats and cheeses are served, for example Tuscan pecorino (produced exclusively with sheep’s milk and naturally seasoned) and Cinta Senese cured meats (cold cuts made from an ancient and rare Tuscan swine breed featuring black fur and light coloured belt) . For the first course we suggest pappardelle or pici with wild boar sauce. For the second course, Chianina or Bistecca alla fiorentina. Finally, as a dessert, the wedding cake, cantucci and ricciarelli.
Cantucci e vinsanto
On every Tuscan table you will find vinsanto (the traditional Tuscan straw wine) in the ever-present company of cantucci (almond biscuits).
